	Burrillville is an attractive community and the Adopt-a-Spot program's focus is to express and develop that beauty. Through this voluntary program, concerned individuals and groups design, landscape, improve and generally maintain certain public areas. The program benefits the people who live in or visit the area as well the volunteers who Adopt-a-Spot. Participants contend that they benefit in many ways - from the pleasure of working with the land to the pride in a job well-done. This program has been in place for several years and a number of spots have already been adopted. Follow this link to see more about the current Burrillville Adopt-a-Spot locations. But that's not all there is to the Adopt-a-Spot program. Many additional areas have been identified that could be adopted by a person or group, like you, who wants to contribute some time and energy to a public beautification project. Your group or business can also erect a sign identifying the community-oriented individual, group, or business making the world a little bit nicer for everyone.
