02-14-07 Council Regular Meeting
REGULAR MEETING of the Burrillville Town Council to be held Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 105 Harrisville Main St.,  Harrisville for and within the Town of Burrillville.

PRESENT:  Council President Nancy F. Binns, Councilors Wallace F. Lees, Kevin M. Blais, Margaret L. Dudley, John M. Karmozyn Jr., Norman C. Mainville and Cynthia L. Roe

MEMBERS ABSENT:  


        1.     Pledge of Allegiance



       2.      That the question of accepting the minutes of the regular meeting held January 24, 2007;  the public hearing and continued special meeting held of January 24, 2007; the special meeting held January 29, 2007 and the question of dispensing with the reading of said minutes; be now taken up.

07-058  Application for a special event victualing license from St. Theresa’s Church for events to be held throughout 2007 at 35 Dion Drive (Map 97, Lot 16); to be considered and acted on.


07-059  Application for an annual victualing house license from Emily’s Family Restaurant to apply at 148 Chapel Street (Map 142, Lot 25); to be considered and acted on.



07-060  Application for an annual victualing house license from MLC LLC to apply at 605 Douglas Pike (Map 131, Lot 41); to be considered and acted on.

07-061  Correspondence from Councilor Norman C. Mainville regarding his request that the Town Council recognize the citizens and public safety people who assisted in the rescue of Eric Haringa of Douglas, MA on Wednesday, January 31, 2007.




07-062  Correspondence from Thomas Kravitz, Town Planner and Economic Development Coordinator regarding the Burrillville Notable Trees booklet.




07-063  Correspondence from Councilor Margaret L. Dudley regarding her request that the Town Council consider giving the Library Capital Campaign Committee additional seed money.




07-064  Correspondence from Council President Nancy F. Binns regarding her request that the Town Council consider and act on appointing Raymond Menard and John M. Karmozyn, Jr. to the Board of Administration.



07-065  Correspondence from Raymond Cloutier, Zoning Board Chairman, regarding the reappointments of Sandra D. Cooney, Ken Johnson and John Patriarca to the Zoning Board; to be referred to the Screening Subcommittee.
