CONTINUATION OF A PUBLIC HEARING of the Town Council which commenced on November 14, 2007; to be held Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber, Town Building, Harrisville for and within the Town of Burrillville.

Relative to considering and acting on the following proposed changes to the Revised General Ordinances of the Town of Burrillville:
The Town Council of the Town of Burrillville hereby ordains as follows:
The General Ordinances of the Town of Burrillville are hereby amended, as follows:
Chapter 16, OFFENSES AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS, §16-3 entitled Parks and Recreation areas, use regulations and §16-4 entitled Swimming, bathing, etc., are hereby revoked in their entirety.
Chapter 16.5, PARKS AND RECREATION, is amended by adding Sec 16.5-1. Parks and Recreation areas; use regulations.
NOTE: The notice of hearing was advertised in the legal section of the Woonsocket Call on Wednesday, November 7, 2007.
