Burrillville's Geographic Information System (GIS) is comprised of data, software, hardware, networks, personnel, processes and procedures to support the capture, management, manipulation, analysis, and display of geographically referenced data for solving complex municipal management and planning problems, and for serving the public better and more efficiently.

With the INTERACTIVE ONLINE GIS you can look up parcels, zoom in and out, load various layers, and print maps. The Online GIS is best viewed with a high-speed broadband connection. If you have difficulty with the Online GIS, please check back occasionally as we are working on improvements to this service.

Information Systems hosts all GIS data on the Town servers, provides software, hardware and network support for department users and maintains the Online GIS service.
The Assessing Office maintains layers such as parcels, easements, and the tax maps; also maintains roads layer in collaboration with Public Works Dept. Provides current ownership and parcel related data such as land use and lot size. Maps in PDF format available for download include individual assessor's tax map sheets and other Burrillville and Statewide maps. Printed copies of tax maps and abutters maps / lists may be obtained in the Assessing Office at Town Hall.
The Town Planner maintains many layers including zoning and land use. The 2005 Burrillville Comprehensive Plan has several maps in PDF format that can be viewed or downloaded.
Public Works maintains several layers such as roads.
The Building Department maintains layers such as zoning.
