Monday -Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – NOON
No recording of land evidence records during the last half hour of any day.
Recording fees
Deeds $84.00 for first page
($1.00 for each additional page)
Mortgages $64.00 for first page
($1.00 for each additional page)
Discharges $49.00 for first page
($1.00 for each additional page)
Bill of Sale $49.00 for first page
($1.00 for each additional page)
Please note that as of July 1, 2007, the fees for all land evidence recording has been increased one dollar ($1.00). And as of November 1, 2007, the fees were again increased one dollar ($1.00).
Call the town clerk’s office for fees on all other recordings.
Copies of land evidence records
In accordance with R.I.G.L. §31-13-9, recording officers shall charge $1.50 per page and $3.00 for certifying the record of any instrument.
