Clogged Storm Drain-If you live in an area that may be subject to periodic flooding during heavy rains and the DPW crews have not yet cleared a storm drain near your residence, DPW asks for your assistance by unclogging the drain(s). If you are unable to clear/clean a drain that is clogged near your house, please report it by contact the department at 568-4440 or the police department at 568-6255. It is difficult for the DPW crews to cover every road during the fall when drains are most prone to clogging. Please help us, help you!

Mission:
The Department of Public Works is the liaison between the public and it’s various departments, handling complaints, answering questions and providing assistance whenever possible. The mission and goal of the Department of Public Works is to maintain existing facilities including roadways, drainage systems, bridges and culverts and Town parks. The staff of the Public Works Department works very closely with other departments such as recreation, planning and the police in order to maintain our Town. This Department provides the following services:

2. Snow plowing/sanding
3. Drainage maintenance repair and/or replacement
4. Pot hole repair
5. Brush cutting
6. Roadway reconstruction/paving
7. Sidewalk construction/repair
· Senior Citizen Transportation
· Trash Removal & Recycling Program
· Make, replace and erect street signs throughout town
· Engineering Services to Town Departments
· Town fueling facility
· Town Vehicle Maintenance facility
· Capital Improvement project construction
· Operation and Maintenance of the Town Compost Facility
Senior Citizen Minibus: Available: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for doctor's visits (call DPW to make arrangements).Wednesday is grocery shopping day at the Village IGA Marketplace in Pascoag and Friday is shopping trip day (Call DPW to make arrangements).
