Hunting Areas
Burrillville has several publicly-owned management areas that permit hunting during season.  Most of these are owned and maintained by the State of Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Fish & Wildlife Division.  Management areas provide the habitat necessary for wildlife diversity.  Hunting opportunities include deer, wild turkey, ruffed grouse, woodcock, pheasant, dove, waterfowl and small game.

Hunting is allowed by license only. A former Rhode Island hunting license or a hunter education card from any state or Canadian Provence is required to purchase a Rhode Island hunting license.
