The Industrial Foundation of Burrillville (the "Foundation") is organized to promote the economic benefit

of the Town of Burrillville, Rhode Island through means which the board of directors deems are not

effectively provided for by the private for-profit sector.

In connection therewith the Foundation may develop projects, and provide general consulting, and

advisory services to others who develop projects, which offer economic benefits to the Town of Burrillville,

specifically including projects which assist in creating or retaining employment opportunities for the citizens

of the Town of Burrillville and/or enhancing the tax base of the Town of Burrillville through,

• (a) developing new businesses,

• (b) identifying and acquiring new sites for businesses,

• (c) diversifying the economic base of the Town of Burrillville,

• (d) leveraging private investment, or

• (e) promoting fiscal strength, stability or a positive image for the Town of Burrillville.
