Burrillville Real Estate Taxes
A comparison of Burrillville's real estate tax (property tax) to other northern Rhode Island communities can be found by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
All communities compared in the survey have been equalized by using their average residential home value and thier FY2012 tax rate to determine what a residential homeowner living in a single family home of average value would pay in real estate taxes if you lived in that community.
Fire taxes for those communities, like Burrillville, that have fire districts legally separate from the town are noted in the chart. For those communities where fire districts are legally separate, the average tax bill does not include fire tax. The Town Council has no control over fire district taxes in Burrillville.
"Tax Rate" comparisons from FY2011 to FY2012 are not always reflective of actual changes in property taxes because a number of communities we survey performed state mandated property revaluations which skews the data.
The "tax bill" totals are the key data to compare.
Please note, individual property owners will experience a different result if your home is valued higher or lower than average. The average value for a single family home in Burrillville is $231,600.
