Approval of Minutes:
Approved Minutes of October 23, 2001. Unanimous vote.
Approval of Expenditures:
Voted to approve NEEDS bill in the amount of $225.00 dated 10/20/01. Unanimous vote.
Committee Actions:
Met with members of Downtown Pascoag Association Al Palmisciano, Norm Desjarlais, Margaret Desjarlais, and Bob Pelequin. General discussion to introduce ourselves and to advise DPA of mission and intent of the Redevelopment Agency. Want to work together. Need to define a geographic area in Downtown Pascoag should the BRA decide to target this area as one of our projects. Agreed to share agendas and meeting minutes. Tom and Angela to coordinate.
Reviewed Mr. Gibbs correspondence defining the Redevelopment Agency. Letter to be passed on to absent BRA members.
Reviewed and approved a letter of introduction from the BRA to be sent to various boards, committees, and officials. Michael Wood to coordinate and Kevin Menard to sign. All members names should be on the letter. We need to develop a formal letterhead for BRA use.
Modified by-laws will be mailed (or e-mailed) to each BRA member. Tim Kane has made recommended changes. Board members to review and comment back to Tim.
Thomas Kravitz memorandum received and filed
Berlinsky (ARC) Appraisal received and filed
Wood advised that a Town website is being created. Asked BRA if they wanted a page. All agreed to do this. Wood asked for volunteers to help create and maintain the page and its ongoing information.
Next meeting to be rescheduled to December 17, 7:30. Wood noted a potential conflict. He will advise BRA accordingly.
