Listed below are a few reasons your trash my not have been picked up:
- Too many barrels/bags - Residents are allowed 5 per household.
- Containers too Heavy - Barrels/bags must weigh no more than 35 lbs
- Mixed Refuse - Trash mixed with recylables and / or construction debris will not be picked up
- Mixed Recyclables - Paper mixed with glass & plastic will not be picked up. Please separate your recyclables and place in the appropriate BLUE and GREEN bin for proper disposal.
- Frozen Refuse - If you noticed only half of your trash can was emptied, it is quite possible that it froze to the sides of the trash can.
- Spilled Trash - If the dogs or wild animals got into your trash, or the wind knocked down, it is the residents' responsibility clean up the area and place the trash back into the appropriate containers.
- Not Curbside Items - Mattresses, box springs, large rigid plastic, scrap metal, electronics, construction debris, appliances, household hazardous waste, Christmas trees, yard waste, tires.
