ATTENTION BURRILLVILLE RESIDENTS
Whipple Avenue Compost Facility will be closing for the winter season as of November 30, 2005 at 1:00 pm.
Any Burrillville resident needing to dispose of a specialty item after this time, such as electronic waste, propane tanks, tires or scrap metals must contact the Department of Public Works from at 568-4440, extension 212 to schedule an appointment.
Please do not put these “hard to dispose of” specialty items out with your weekly curbside pickup, as they will not be collected.
The Whipple Avenue Compost Site will be open after the New Year, for a limited time so Burrillville residents may dispose of their Holiday Trees. The Whipple Avenue Compost Site will open again on January 4th, 7th, 11th and 14th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
