Scrap Metal Items


	Any Large Metal Item that will not fit in the Blue Bin can be brought to the Whipple Avenue Compost Facility FREE OF CHARGE and dropped off in the Scrap Metal Bin during normal hours of operation. NO CAR PARTS CONTAING ANY FLUIDS, OILS, LUBRICANTS OR OTHER VEHICULAR FLUIDS ARE ACCEPTED IN THE METALS BIN (i.e. ENGINE BLOCKS, TRANSMISSIONS, REAR END AXLES, ETC.) Some examples of irregular sized metals include: push lawnmowers (drain oil & gas), barbecue grills (cleaned of briquettes), metal cabinets, metal desks, bicycles, exercise equipment, metal doors, pipes, lawn/beach chairs, strollers, etc… PLEASE REMEMBER, THE TOWN IS REIMBURSED FOR RECYCLING METAL.* THIS HELPS KEEP YOUR TAXES LOWER
