Are there organizations that can reuse my heavy items?

For disposal information from RI Resource Recovery, please click here.
Residents are also reminded that Recyclables placed at curbside in plastic trash bags will not be collected, but rather disposed of with the garbage. Recyclable bottles & cans must be placed in the blue bin or in a container with an additional set out sticker. Stickers are available free of charge at the Department of Public Works, 65 Union Avenue, Harrisville. Paper goods must be placed either in the green bins, a container with an additional set out sticker, or in paper bags next to the blue bins.
