The Pascoag Fire Department proudly protects 8500 people living in an area of 25-30 square miles. We operate out of two stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status.
Nasonville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department proudly protects 4000 people living in an area of 13.5 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
The Oakland-Mapleville Fire Department is a volunteer department with 35 members and a chief. The department serves the villages of Oakland, Mapleville and part of the village of Glendale. We provide Fire, EMS and other emergency services.
Wallum Lake
Wallum Lake Fire Department was established in 1936. This volunteer fire department is located in northwestern Pascoag and under the direction of Chief Robert A. Bishop.
