SPECIAL MEETING of the Town Council held Friday, November 22, 2002 at 12:00 o’clock Noon in the Council Chamber, Town Building, Harrisville, for and within the Town of Burrillville.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Council President Wallace F. Lees; Councilors William A. Andrews, Louis Bleiweis, Edward F. Bonczek, William E. Gonyea and Norman C. Mainville.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilor Jacqueline Zahn was excused due to a work commitment.
Petitions:
1. VOTED to grant the request from Verizon New England, Inc. and The Narragansett Electric Company to locate and maintain poles, wires and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, to be owned and used in common by the petitioners along and across Tarkiln Road & Mowry Road – to place three new joint poles and relocate one joint pole: This is a Town Request.
Councilor Norman C. Mainville made the motion. Councilor William E. Gonyea seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous by the six members present. Voting in favor of the motion were Town Council President Wallace F. Lees, Councilors William A. Andrews, Louis Bleiweis, Edward F. Bonczek, William E. Gonyea and Norman C. Mainville. Councilor Jacqueline Zahn was excused.
2. VOTED to grant the request from Verizon New England, Inc. and The Narragansett Electric Company to locate and maintain poles, wires and fixtures, including the necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, to be owned and used in common by the petitioners along and across Harrisville Main Street (to relocate one joint pole (P.2) location on driveway to gym: This is a Town Request.
Councilor Norman C. Mainville made the motion. Councilor William A. Andrews seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous by the six members present. Voting in favor of the motion were Town Council President Wallace F. Lees, Councilors William A. Andrews, Louis Bleiweis, Edward F. Bonczek, William E. Gonyea and Norman C. Mainville. Councilor Jacqueline Zahn was excused.
3. VOTED to adjourn at 12:05 p.m.
Councilor William A. Andrews made the motion. Councilor Norman C. Mainville seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous by the six members present. Voting in favor of the motion were Town Council President Wallace F. Lees, Councilors William A. Andrews, Louis Bleiweis, Edward F. Bonczek, William E. Gonyea and Norman C. Mainville. Councilor Jacqueline Zahn was excused.
