If the used water is clean and can be introduced back into the stream and local ponds, could Invenergy build a dam to provide adequate time for the water to percolate through to Pascoag aquifer and complete the circle allowing a flushing action to as
RESPONSE 4-23:
| As previously noted, this wastewater will be conveyed to the existing Town of Burrillville sanitary sewer system and through that system to the BWWTF. The proposed operation of PUD Well #3A will increase the flow of groundwater through the aquifer and continue to remove contaminants from the impacted aquifer. The CREC wastewater discharge is most properly handled by discharging to the BWWTF so that it can be assured that the water is properly treated.
