The Spring Lake Beach Recreational Facility offers visitors from all over
Rhode Island the following amenities:
Canoe and paddleboat rental; children's slides at the waters edge; swim dock; food concessions,
restrooms with outdoor showers; picnic tables and arcade.
The beach penny arcade is home to some of the oldest arcade games in the country.
During hours of operation the facility has full time lifeguard staff.
The Champlin Recreation Hall located at the beach is available for rent throughout the season.
Recreation Hall Rentals •
A rental includes one five hour interval as indicated by the permit holder. The rental choices are either (10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) or (4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.). Facility includes admission for your guests, use of the hall tables and chairs, picnic tables on wrap around deck, kitchen, restrooms, volley ball net (bring own ball) and you may bring your own grill.
***No Alcohol is allowed on any town properties and No Smoking in the Building ***
All rental fees include admission to the facility for all listed guests.

Spring Lake Beach Facility will be open "weekends only" beginning May 26, 2013 through June 8, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; "daily" as of June 9, 2013 through June 30, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.;"daily" as of July 1, 2013 through July 31, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and "daily" as of August 1, 2013 thru Labor Day from 10:00 a.m. to dusk, weather permitting.
(Water closes 1 hour prior to closing times).

Swim Lessons •
Swim lessons co-sponsored by the Burrillville Lion's Club are held Monday through Thursday for children age 5 to 10 at a cost of $10.00 per Burrillville student (max. $20.00 per family) with the purchase of a Family Pass required. The cost for a Non-resident is $20.00 per student ($10.00 each additional family member) with the purchase of a Beach Pass valid during swim. The lessons will take place Monday through Thursday between 10am and noon for three weeks beginning June 24, 2013 through July 13, 2013 (weather permitting).
Directions •
From Route 95 South north of Route 295 South:
Route 95 South to Route 295 South to Route 146 North to Forestdale exit. At end of exit, turn right; at end of road, turn left onto Route 146A. Drive north 2-3 miles; Route 146A becomes Route 102. Continue North on Route 102 for about 6 miles. Turn left at sign for Glendale (street on left immediately after Bella’s Restaurant); turn right twice, to circle under Route 102(Joslin Rd). Turn left onto Spring Lake Road; drive 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Black Hut Road. Spring Lake Beach parking area will be on your right and left, just a few yards down Black Hut Road.
From Route 146:
Route 146 North to Forestdale exit. At end of exit, turn right; at end of road, turn left onto Route 146A. Drive north 2-3 miles; Route 146A becomes Route 102. From 295:
Route 295 to the Route 44 Greenville Exit. Follow Route 44 for approximately 10-15 minutes into center of Chepachet in Glocester. Take right onto route 102/100 at traffic lights at intersection of Route 44 and 102/100. Then take first right to continue on Route 102. About approximately 1/4 mile after 2nd set of street lights, take right before “Bella’s” Restaurant (big red and white sign). At stop sign- take right. At next intersection-take right (Joslin Rd.) Then take-1st left onto Spring Lake Road; drive 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Black Hut Road. Spring Lake Beach parking area will be on your right & left, just a few yards down Black Hut Road. Walk down small hill to office.
