Medical Syringes & Sharps

Used syringes and/or needles should be placed in a hard plastic container such as a laundry detergent or bleach bottle. Seal cap tightly and cover cap with duct tape.  Place the container in a bag in your BLACK lid trash cart and label it SHARPS.

Some private companies offer a service to provide sharps containers that can be mailed back to the company for safe disposal.  Search results can be found by clicking here.
