Didn't Receive a Tax Bill?

Tax bills for this year will be mailed the 7/07/2023, the First quarter due date is 7/24/23, through 8/9/23 without interest.  

You may not receive a bill for a variety of reasons: 

• Did you buy a home after December 31, 2022?
• Have you paid off a mortgage recently?
• Have you moved?
• Have you updated your mailing address with the Tax Assessor?   

If you answered, "Yes" to any of these questions, please contact the Tax Assessor (401-568-4300, ext. 181) for a copy of your bill.

If you have not received a bill or if you have any questions, please call the Tax Assessor's office (401-568-4300, ext. 181) to determine if you have a liability with the Town.  

** Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse the nonpayment of the tax or affect its validity or any proceedings for the collection thereof, according to Rhode Island General Laws, RIGL 44-7-7.**
