In the 2014 midterm elections, fewer than 20% of eligible voters aged 18-29 cast their vote.

Millennials cite a variety of reasons for their dwindling participation. A primary concern is the state-by-state laws that hamper this mobile generation – for example, the voter registration laws that affect out-of-state college students.
