Special Referenda Election

A special election will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021.This election will be for the statewide bond referenda that were not on the ballot this past November.

A Voter Information Handbook was mailed by the Secretary of State, which outlines the bond questions in detail, as well as voting procedures in Rhode Island.You may follow this link to view the online version of the handbook.

Some important dates for this election are as follows:

February 10, 2021: Emergency voting period begins. This will be held at the American Legion Hall, 103 Harrisville Main St. Harrisville, RI 02830. Please use the Town Hall parking lot. Voting will take place during Town Hall normal business hours.

March 1, 2021: Emergency voting period ends.

March 2, 2021: Election Day. There will be only one polling location open. Anyone wishing to vote in-person should go to the the Beckwith-Bruckshaw Lodge, 50 Lodge Rd., Pascoag, RI. The hours will be from 7am-8pm.

To register to vote, confirm your registration, address, party affiliation or your polling location, you may do so at the Secretary of State's website. You may also contact the Board of Canvassers at 401-568-4300 x132 for questions regarding your voter registration.
