Presidential Preference Primary

March 3, 2024: Deadline to register to vote in order to be eligible to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary.
March 3, 2024: Deadline to disaffiliate, if necessary, in order to be eligible to vote in a different party's primary.
March 12, 2024: Deadline to receive mail ballot applications. Mail ballot applications are now available. You can request a mail ballot directly though the portal on the Secretary of State's website by following this link. You can also print an application here and return it to the Board of Canvassers.
March 13- April 1, 2024: Early voting begins. Early voting will take place at the American Legion Hall next door to Town Hall. Voting will take place during Town Hall normal business hours.

NEW: Tracking your mail ballot is a new feature available to voters. You may safely and securely track your mail ballot from the time of the request, through the vote being counted. You may sign up for this feature by following this link.

NEW: A law passed in 2023 now allows any 17-year old to vote in a Primary if they will be 18 on or before the date of the Election associated with that Primary.  If you will be 18 by the November 5, 2024 General Election, you may vote in the Presidential Preference Primary on April 2, 2024 even if you are 17. You must be registered by the March 3, 2024 deadline.
