“Old Time Family Fun Fair”
28th Annual Burrillville Family Fair

The Burrillville Parks and Recreation Department is planning the 28th Anniversary Family Fair for Saturday, June 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Stillwater Mill Center (where the Jesse Smith Library is located, Tinkham Lane, Harrisville, RI). A rain date is planned for Saturday, June 22nd. The purpose of the Family Fair is to inform parents of programs and services available to assist in meeting the needs of their families, and to bring together non-profit organizations and agencies in a community setting.

In keeping with the history of the Family Fair, participation will be open to local businesses, organizations, and agencies both local and statewide. No selling or money can be exchanged for sales of any kind at the fair.  Parks and Recreation Department is collaborating with the Farmer’s Market and the Jesse Smith Library to offer a Family Fair that will not disappoint! The theme is “Old Time Family Fun Fair” and will feature traditional fair activities and games with an old fashioned twist. There will be plenty of food, demonstrations, raffles, giveaways, face painting, games, pie eating contest, entertainment, Farmer’s Market, and fun for the whole family.

We invite you to participate by setting up a booth illustrating your organization’s services and programs. This event is a chance to showcase your organization or agency; to network and share with others, both professionally and with the community, free of charge. Tables, chairs, extension cords, signage, and/or an anchored canopy are the responsibility of the participants. Space is limited. Burrillville community groups and non-profits receive first priority.
