Meeting called to order by Sharon Davies at 6:30pm EDT

Present:
Andrea Hall (DPW), Sharon Davies, James Alix, Aaron Coutu, Tim Pratt, Jeremy Bailey (Town Council),

Excused:
Motion made to consider Greg Devlin as excused by Aaron Coutu, seconded by James Alix
Motion passes unopposed – Greg Devlin excused.

Discussion:

*Boot Camp – Bootcamp has 21 new participants in the month of March and is averaging
35 per class.
*Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – A total of $436 was raised in the Easter
Event raffle and $103 raised by Callahan students. Bags were packed to carry us
through the remainder of the school year.
*Easter Event- Easter Egg Hunt was a success with about 800 people in attendance.
$436 was raised for the BWSP program through the sale of raffle tickets. Easter
Breakfast was a success. Egg hunt rescheduled due to field conditions. $101 was
raised in raffle sales at the Breakfast Event.
*Earth Day Cleanup – Signs are up. T-shirts, trash bags, and gloves ordered. Promo
items ordered. Flyers distributed to the schools.
*Earth Day/Energy Conservation Poster Contest – Offered in conjunction with the Jesse
Smith Library and PUD. Flyers distributed to schools.
*Earth Day Make It, Take It craft – Craft held April 5th at Steere Farm and April 3rd at
Callahan in conjunction with JSML to offer a recycled/energy conservation Make It, Take
It craft to SFE and WLC students during April. Photos posted on facebook.
*Facebook/Newsletters/Website- April calendar, Safe sitter, Egg Hunt, SLB lifeguard
certification notice, BWSP raffle, packing session photos posted.
*Forever Fit – averaging 9 people per class
*Itty Biddy Sports – Classes begin April 4th.
*Multisport – 15 students registered for Levy.
*Safe Sitter – 5 students registered to date. Next session scheduled for June 22nd.
*Summer Programs– Working on scheduling summer programs
*Sunshine Club– March meeting had 8 volunteers that made 26 gifts. Next meeting
scheduled for April 23rd.
*Paige Spink inquired about Lion's Club donating Oatmeal for BackPack Program
