On April 24, 2024 at 9:40 a.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Thierno S. Diallo, age 30, of 25 Glen Rd., Apt. 1, Woonsocket, RI. Mr. Thierno was taken into custody by the RI State Police on an outstanding warrant issued by this Department. Mr. Thierno was charged with Eluding Law Enforcement, Vehicle in a High Speed Pursuit, 1st offense, Reckless Driving and other Offenses Against Public Safety, 1st offense, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, and Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty. Mr. Diallo was brought to the RI 6th District Court for his arraignment.
On April 24, 2024 at 7:23 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Albert Labonte, age 56, of 95 South St., Avon, MA. This was the result of a call for a larceny on Chapel St. Mr. Labonte was charged with Shoplifting. Mr. Labonte was brought before a Bail Commissioner and was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On April 24, 2024 at 8:14 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Samantha V. Duarte, age 36, of 2536 Victory Hwy., Nasonville, RI. This was the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by members of this Department. Ms. Duarte was charged with Domestic Violence-Simple Assault and/or Battery, 1st offense and Domestic Violence-Disorderly Conduct, 1st offense. Ms. Duarte was brought before a Bail Commissioner and was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On April 25, 2024 at 1:21 a.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Richard P. Magnone, Jr., age 50, of 11 Youlden Ave., Cranston, RI. This was the result of a traffic stop on Grove St. Mr. Magnone was charged with DUI, BAC Unknown, 1st offense, Possession of a Scheduled I to V Controlled Substance, 1st offense, as well as having a Bench Warrant that was issued from the RI Superior Court. Mr. Magnone was held overnight and was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On April 25, 2024 at 8:29 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested a 12 year old juvenile. The juvenile was charged with Larceny u/ $1500 and Vandalism. The juvenile was referred to the RI Family Court at a later date.
On April 26, 2024 at 7:36 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested a 12 year old juvenile. The juvenile was charged with Larceny u/$1500 and Vandalism. The juvenile was referred to the RI Family Court at a later date.
On April 28, 2024 at 9:09 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Kyle M. Taylor, age 41, of 20 Zambarano Ave., Apt. 201, North Providence, RI. This was the result of a traffic stop on North Rd. Mr. Taylor was charged with DUI, BAC Unknown, 1st offense. Mr. Taylor was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
