Nasonville Redevelopment Plan Adopted!

The Burrillville Town Council has adopted the Redevelopment Plan for Nasonville

On April 28, 2021, the Town Council adopted the Nasonville Redevelopment Plan. 

This is the first step towards the cohesive redevelopment of the village of Nasonville.

The efforts of the Burrillville Redevelopment Agency (BRA) in coordination with Nasonville residents, property owners, businesses and many others has developed a vision for the village to grow toward. The BRA has worked with consultants including, Scott Gibbs, New England Economic Development, Inc. to hold public workshops where they gathered information about the village and what folks hoped could happen in the future. The team identifed goals and objectives for the village. Opportunities and obstacles toward acheiveing the future vision.  They also worked with RIDOT on plans to improve traffic flow along Douglas Pike. 

The next steps are to work on implementation of the plan and establishing the district which includes defining the boundries and properties included.
