Notice of Public Hearing

Pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws 45-23-42, notice is hereby given that the Burrillville Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing where all interested persons will be heard for or against the following application:

Applicant:                  Work Ready Truck, LLC

Subject Property:     0 Victory Highway, AP 114 Lot 012

Proposed Plan:          Major Land Development plan review where the applicant is requesting:

  1. Master plan application review for a 30,000 square foot truck disassembly and reassembly facility in the General Commercial, A-120 and Development Management District (Route 102 Overlay).
  2. Special Use Permit under Article 30-71(7)(7)(See Section 30-214(25) Zoning District Uses, Service Business, General automotive Repair and Article 30-71(11)(3)(See Section 30-214(31) Zoning District Uses, Service Industries, Bus, Truck or Heavy Equipment Repair- to operate a truck disassembly and reassembly business in the General Commercial Zone.
  3. Use   Variance from Article 30-214(25)(d) Criteria for Special Uses, General Automotive Repair, Storage- to allow material storage outside of the building in the General Commercial Zone.
  4. Use Variance from Article 30-210(b)(2)(g) Development Management District, Prohibited Uses, Open Lot Storage- to allow storage of trucks and truck parts in an open lot in the Development Management District Overlay Zone (Route 102 Overlay).
