Oakland Village Water

The Oakland Village Water System Improvement Project is currently in the Contractor bid phase. Contractors will be submitting bid documents in early December. These bids will then be evaluated by the engineer and a Recommendation for Contract Award will be made. 

We anticipate that the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank will authorize the funding for construction at its December 17^th Board Meeting based on the results of the Contractor bids. Once the Contractor receives a Notice to Proceed we will receive a preliminary construction schedule.

We will share this schedule with the public once it becomes available. We anticipate holding a meeting with impacted residents in late January/early February to discuss the construction schedule. Notice will be provided to residents prior to this meeting.
