Code Red Message 3/31/20

CODE RED MESSAGE – 3/31/20

This is Lisa Rabideau from the Burrillville Police Department with a message from our Town Manager:

Burrillville has at least eight (8) cases of COVID-19.  We do not know where the COVID-19 cases are located, so please do not call the Town, Schools or Public Safety Departments looking for this information!

This virus is everywhere and it is here in Burrillville right now. It doesn’t care who you are.  Anyone can get the virus.  It is imperative that we all do what is required to stop the spread of this virus now.

So please:

Do not meet or gather in any setting where there are more than five (5) people.

Social distancing means stay at least six (6) feet away from any other person at all times.

Follow the Governor’s stay at home order – stay at home whenever possible, leaving only for permitted activities.

If you are sick, call your doctor or primary care provider for instructions, and do not expose your illness to others.

If you need food, medicine, or someone to pick up food or medicine for you, please call 401-710-7429, again, that’s 401-710-7429.

Please - don’t be shy, we’re ready and happy to help out!

Please stay in touch with your vulnerable neighbors and friends.  Be well and stay safe!  The sooner we all do what is needed, the sooner we can get back to a normal life.
