The Wetland Application describes BIP [Burrillville Interconnection Project] work along a section of right-of-way that cuts through one Natural Heritage Area associated with ten different species of rare plants and one State-listed dragonfly in the State's natural heritage database and a second Natural Heritage Area associated with one additional plant species.

The Town of Burrillville recognizes that a pull-quote does not tell the whole story. In our point-of-view, this excerpt is indicative. While DEM was unable to draw definitive conclusions, the Town of Burrillville concludes that this power plant is not needed and is harmful to Burrillville, Rhode Island and surrounding areas.
