Burrillville files motion

The Town of Burrillville has filed a motion related to water supply issues at the proposed Clear River Energy Center power plant.  The Motion seeks to:

• Strike Invenergy's Objection to the Town's Data Request 33-1
• Compel a response by Invenergy to Data Request 33-1
•  Stay the upcoming hearings until all water supply issues have been resolved and the proposed water supply is not subject to legal challenges

The Town requests oral argument on this motion, as well as on the Town's previously filed Motion to Dismiss the application for the failure of Invenergy to furnish complete plans for all structures, as required by the Energy Facility Siting Act and the EFSB's Rules.
