Town Calls for Dismissal
Cites Invenergy’s ongoing pattern of misrepresentation and withholding of critical information

The Town of Burrillville and the Conservation Law Foundation are again asking the Energy Facility Siting Board to dismiss Invenergy’s application to build the Clear River Energy Center. Citing Invenergy’s ongoing pattern of misrepresentation and withholding of critical information for two years, the Town’s motion says, “Thus far, Invenergy has not been held responsible for withholding crucial information from the EFSB, the parties and the public. This cannot be allowed to continue.”
