-Spring Lake Beach closure due to water tests

-Boot Camp – Bootcamp has 849 participants in the month of May.
-Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – 35 students are currently participating. Donations continue to come in.
-Facebook/Newsletters/Website- Family Fair flyers sent home and posted around town.
June calendar distributed.
-Family Fair- Maxed out with 40 vendors registered. Bag stuffing scheduled for 6/5. Still in need of volunteers. Ad ran in Bargain Buyer. Two flyers sent home.
-Forever Fit – averaging 12 people per class
-Itty Biddy Sports – taking the summer off.
-Play to Learn – Instructor taking the summer off. Classes will continue in the fall.
-Summer Meal Program – Aramark to handle volunteer coordination for Monday, Wednesday and Friday. JSML to handle serving on Tuesday and Thursday. Program
to begin on July 9
-Spring Lake Beach – Volleyball net and smoking sections moved to a new location. Ordered inflatable bounce house. Season has been going well so far.
-Sunshine Club– May meeting had 8 volunteers that made 31 gifts. Meeting location moved to the lodge to accommodate additional members. Next meeting scheduled for
June 18th. Added Pine Grove to the list of recipients.
-Tap to Fitness – Classes suspended until further notice per instructor.

Enforcement of No Smoking at Spring Lake Beach
-James Alix motions to send a letter to the Burrillville Town Council regarding current
smoking desingated areas at Spring Lake Beach
-Seconded by Aaron Coutu
-Motion passes unanimously
Methods available to stop neighbor from hitting golf balls on to Spring Lake Beach grounds
-Noted that activity has recently ceased
-Letter will be sent if activity starts again
Methods available to stop people from fishing too close to swimming area
-Issue will be addressed by Department of Public Works
