The Burrillville Animal Control Shelter is located on Clear River Drive which runs off of Broncos Highway (Rt 102) in the village of Oakland.

Volunteering at the Shelter
The shelter is always in need of volunteers to assist in the care of animals. Please contact the shelter for further information on becoming a volunteer. The shelter also provides work for those who are mandated to perform community service.
Donations
Pet supplies and money donations are always accepted. Monetary donations are used solely for the provision of veterinary care and medical supplies for shelter animals. Donations may be made on-line here, in person at the shelter, or by mail to: Burrillvile Animal Control, Town Hall, 105 Harrisville Main St, Harrisville, RI 02830.
Animal Control officers are available to perform the following services:
- Return stray animals to their owners
- Place unclaimed animals up for adoption
- Enforce local animal control ordinances and state animal care regulations
- Educate and provide referrals to the public
- Assist residents in advertising pets needing new homes via the internet
