B.E.C. Inclement Weather Policy

Weather Situation	School Year Program	School Year Vacations/ Summer Program
Snowstorm--Closing	If Burrillville Schools are closed, BEC will be closed at all locations	BEC will close at the discretion of the Director. Check local news for closings, and check your email for notice from BEC.
Snowstorm--Delay	If the Burrillville Schools issues a delay to the start of school, BEC will also delay opening for the same amount of time.	BEC may delay opening at the discretion of the Director. Check local news for delays and check your email for notice from BEC.
Snowstorm--Early Dismissal	If the Burrillville School System issues an early dismissal, BEC will be open 2 hrs. after the elementary school dismissal time. 12:00 elementary school dismissal BEC Closes at 2:00 PM	BEC may close early at the discretion of the Director. Check local news for closings and check your email for notice from BEC.
Hurricane	If Burrillville Schools are closed, BEC will be closed at all locations.	BEC will close at the discretion of the Director. Check local news for closings, and check your email for notice from BEC.
Tornado/ Severe Weather/ Flood	If Burrillville Schools are closed, BEC will be closed at all locations.	BEC will close at the discretion of the Director. Check local news for closings, and check your email for notice from BEC.
