Burrillville Extended Care Mission

The Mission of the Burrillville Extended Care Division is to provide a progressive child care program for Burrillville residents that is safe, reliable, convenient and affordable for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade at the Steere Farm and Callahan Elementary Schools.  The program also offers full day care during school year vacations and holidays.  It is also the mission of the Extended Care Program to provide quality child care during the summer. Our Summer Program accepts children entering grades First thru Seventh grade or age 12.  This age requirement is due to our licensing through RI DCYF. Kindergartners are only eligible to begin the program once they are enrolled and have started kindergarten.

Goals of our Program
The Burrillville Extended Care Program will provide a happy, safe, wholesome environment for children.  The main goal of our program is to help stimulate your child's development.
This will be through play, both indoors and outdoors, along with other constructive activities such as sports and arts and crafts, cooking and many other experiences.
We will provide a comprehensive school age child care development program that is flexible with a variety of choices and which includes a large number of age-appropriate activities based on the interest of the children attending.
