Board of Administration

The Board of Administration was established in 1934 by mill owner and philanthropist Austin T. Levy to manage and maintain the buildings which he so generously donated to the Town of Burrillville.  The Town Hall, Carlton Brown Building (Town Hall Annex), Legion Hall and the Assembly Theatre are all maintained by the Board of Administration.

The Legion Hall, conveniently located at 103 Harrisville Main Street in Harrisville, is available for rent. It’s a great location for birthday parties, bridal or baby showers, and family gatherings. It is also suitable for small workshops and meetings. The hall is located next to the Burrillville Town Hall and is handicap accessible. Parking is available in the Town Hall parking lot.  For rental information, please contact Maggie Pienkos at 401-710-9463.  Legion Hall Application for Rental and the Legion Hall Rental Agreement are available by clicking the links above.

The Patrons of the Assembly Theatre, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation promotes the historic preservation and restoration of the Assembly Theatre for the benefit, education, use of enjoyment of the public. We strive to foster, promote, and increase public knowledge of the arts and cultural activities in Burrillville provided by the Assembly Theatre.  For further information regarding events or rentals, please contact the Patrons of the Assembly Theatre at: info@patronsofassembly.org.
