September 9, 2026

August 10, 2024: Registration
Deadline to register to vote in order to be eligible to vote in the Statewide Primary. Register to vote online at vote.sos.ri.gov or use the QR Code below. You may also request a paper registration and return to the Board of Canvassers or use our drop box.

August 10, 2026: Disaffiliation
Persons intending to vote in a primary must either be registered under that party or disaffiliated from any other political party (if a member).

August 19, 2026: Mail Ballots
Deadline for voters to apply for a mail ballot. You may now apply for a mail ballot online and track it by visiting vote.sos.ri.gov or by scanning the QR Code below. You may also request an application from the Board of Canvassers.

*NEW* Permanent mail ballot applications are now available to any voter.                                                                       

August 20, 2026-September 8, 2026
Early voting begins. Early voting will take place at the American Legion Hall next door to Town Hall. Voting will take place during Town Hall normal business hours.

Unless noted otherwise, 4:00 p.m. is the deadline for all election-related due dates. For more information: vote.sos.ri.gov or use the QR code.
