Voter Registration Mailing to Residents

A voter registration mailing will begin on or about June 5, 2026. The purpose of this mailing is to help eligible residents register to vote, if they are not already registered. If you receive this mailing, you may complete the form, sign it and mail it back. You may also register to vote online or check your voter registration status at vote.sos.ri.gov. Registering to vote gives you the opportunity to participate in local, state, and federal elections. In Rhode Island, you must be registered to vote 30 days before an election to participate.
