Northern Rhode Island Retired & Senior Volunteer Program
RSVP, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, is America’s largest network for people over 55 volunteering in communities nationwide. Make a positive change in your community!  Senior Services Inc. in partnership with Blackstone Valley Community Action Program (BVCAP) provides volunteer opportunities in Northern Rhode Island.

  • We have an ongoing recruitment for volunteer drivers for Meals on Wheels in Northern   Rhode Island.
  • Many other opportunities are available with Access to Care, Aging in Place, Environmental Stewardship, Veterans and their Families.

Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program

  • Volunteer opportunities for all ages to help pack weekend bags of food for 50 needy children in our community. Assistance is also needed at town events to sell raffle tickets to benefit the program.

Sunshine Club

  • A group of volunteers who gather monthly at the Lodge to make gifts to share at local nursing homes to help celebrate patients' birthdays.
  • Crafting experience is not required.
