On May 30, 2023 at 7:31 a.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested a 15 year old juvenile. The juvenile was charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Sexting Prohibited, and Mail, Transport, Deliver, or Transfer of Child Pornography. The juvenile was referred to the RI Family Court at a later date.
On May 30, 2023 at 2:36 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Christopher McNamara, age 59, of 36 Domenic St., Millville, MA. Mr. McNamara was taken into custody by the Woonsocket Police Department on an outstanding warrant issued by this Department. Mr. McNamara was charged with Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property. Mr. McNamara was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On May 30, 2023 at 3:45 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Bob J. Forrester, age 50, of 185B Spring Lake Rd., Glendale, RI. This was the result of a lengthy investigation conducted by members of this Department. Mr. Forrester was charged with two (2) counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault. Mr. Forrester was processed and released on a summons to appear in the RI Superior Court at a later date.
On May 31, 2023 at 1:52 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Jonathan F. Thornhill, age 27, of 303 Cooper Hill Rd., Mapleville, RI. This was the result of a call for a disturbance on Pascoag Main St. Mr. Thornhill was charged with Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Thornhill was brought before a Bail Commissioner and was transported to the Adult Correctional Institute.
On June 1, 2023 at 12:12 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Jaymeson Delgizzi, age 30, of 735 Joslin Rd. This was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Detective Division. Mr. Delgizzi was charged with Sexual Offender-Failure to Notify Change in Address. Mr. Delgizzi was transported to the RI 6th District Court that afternoon for his arraignment.
On June 2, 2023 at 7:44 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Ailton G. Carvalho, age 33, of 123 Lowden St., Pawtucket, RI. This was the result of a call for gun shots on Broncos Hwy. Mr. Carvalho was charged with two (2) counts of Felony Assault and/or Battery, Carrying a Weapon while Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs, Discharge Firearm/Incendiary or Explosive Substance or Device from a Vehicle, Drive-by Shooting, Carrying a Pistol or Revolver w/o a License or Permit, DUI, 1st offense, BAC Unknown, Reckless Driving and other Offenses against Public Safety-1st offense, and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Carvalho was held overnight and was brought before a Bail Commissioner the following morning where he was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
On June 3, 2023 at 5:44 p.m. members of the Burrillville Police Department arrested Mark S. Ferschke, age 62, of 33 Teakwood Dr., Johnston, RI. This was the result of a call for a motor vehicle crash on Gazza Rd. Mr. Ferschke was charged with DUI, 1st offense, BAC Unknown and Reckless Driving and other offenses against Public Safety, 1st offense. Mr. Ferschke was brought before a Bail Commissioner and was released on a summons to appear in the RI 6th District Court at a later date.
