Which parties did the EFSB ask for advisory opinions?

A preliminary decision by the Energy Facilities Siting Board (EFSB) was issued on March 10, 2016. In the preliminary decision and subsequent errata the EFSB has asked for a number of advisory opinions.

  • Statewide Planning Program
  • Office of Energy Resources
  • Department of Health
  • Burrillville Planning Board
  • Department of Environmental Management
  • Burrillville Zoning Board of Review
  • Burrillville Building Inspector
  • Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission
  • Department of Transportation
  • Burrillville Tax Assessor
  • Pascoag Utility District

Advisory opinions are due no more than six (6) months from the issuance of the preliminary decision. That date is on or about September 10, 2016.

When all advisory opinions are submitted, the EFSB will convene a final hearing. Their final decision must be rendered no later than 120 days after commencement of the final hearing.
