National Public Safety Telecommunications Wk April 12 - 18, 2015

April 12 – 18, 2015 has been designated as National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.
Colonel Stephen Lynch would like to take this moment to thank the dedicated professional men and women who make up the Communications Division here at the Burrillville Police Department.  These  behind-the-scenes individuals work around the clock to answer police, fire, and EMS calls, send appropriate personnel,  handle station walk-in traffic, and provide vital information to responders, all while helping to keep our officers safe.   Dispatchers, as they are commonly referred to, truly are the most important people you will never see!   They are the “first responders” to all calls received at the Burrillville Police Department.

If you talk to one of our dispatchers this week, please join me in thanking them for their service, and for a job well done!
