Police Participate in The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is part of an international campaign for Special Olympics coordinated and managed by all divisions of Law Enforcement officers and officials throughout the world whose mission is to raise dollars and awareness of the Special Olympics Movement worldwide.
Over 35 police departments, fire departments along with the RI State Police and RI Correctional officers.
In 2015, Burrillville Police Department took part in this event. Lt. John Connors, Ptlwn. Kathleen Kelley, Ptlmn. David Beauchemin and Probationary Officer Rebecca Hein ran the Burrillville leg of the event.
