Town of Burrillville

The Town of Burrillville is presently developing an employment list for probationary police officer within the Burrillville Police Department. Burrillville is a community with a population of approximately 17,000.  All applicants must possess a high school diploma. College credit hours preferred but not required.  Applicants must be a citizen of the United States with a valid driver’s license and must be at least 21 years old upon graduation from the Academy.  Candidates must successfully pass the following examinations: physical agility, swim, written, psycholocal, medical, and drug screen. A background investigation will be part of the process. The Town of Burrillville offers an attractive benefits package.

A $25 non-refundable fee to cover the cost of testing materials will be charged. Make checks payable to the Town of Burrillville. No additional fees will be charged. All qualified candidates must be available for testing on April 23, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. for the physical agility and swim tests. A written exam will follow on a later date.
