• Boot Camp – Instructor has added an additional Friday morning class from 515-615am. There were 545
participants in the month of April.
• Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – A total of $296 dollars raised for the Weekend Snack Pack
Program at the Easter Event. Last packing session held on 4/12 to pack bags for the remainder of the
school year. Students were sent home prior to April Vacation on 4/13 with extra food and some Easter
surprises. Taco Shop has agreed to offer a Spring Fundraiser on May 25th giving 10% of the day’s profits to
the program. Taco Shop fundraiser flyers sent home. Posters hung around Town. Email blast sent. Boot
Camp instructor to hold a fundraiser for the backpack program in the summer.
• Earth Day Cleanup – Earth Day Clean Up was a success, with a great turn out despite the rain. Several
smaller cleanups to take place the week of 4/24. Waiting for all cleanups to be complete to tally up
volunteers and tons collected.
• Earth Day/Energy Conservation Poster Contest – Winners notified. Awards ceremony to be held 5/10 at the
Jesse Smith Library.
• Facebook/Newsletters/Website- Posted Family Fair Registration Form, Summer Camp Flyers, E-Waste &
Shred Event Flyers, Safe Sitter Flyer, May boot camp Schedule and Play to Learn Pictures on Facebook.

May Calendars distributed throughout Town.
• Family Fair – scheduled for 6/17 with a rain date of 6/24. Registration form posted online.
• Forever Fit – Average attendance for the month of April was 13 participants per class
• Photography Class – 12 students have registered for the next photography session.
• Play to Learn – Average of 8 participants per class with children ranging from 4mos to 24mos..
• Summer Programs– Archery, hoops, multi-sport, theatre, art, tennis and an Audubon nature camp being
offered this summer.
• Sunshine Club– April meeting had 8 volunteers that made 27 gifts. Next meeting scheduled for May 22nd.
