• Archery – Next session begins March 11th.
• Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – Next packing session scheduled for February 3rd at 10:30am.
Raffle at the Santa at Stillwater event raised $209 to benefit the backpack program. Taco Shop fundraiser
was a great success, raising $300 for the BWSP program with the Taco Shop donating an additional $200
and agreeing to partner with us once per year for fundraising efforts.
• Earth Day Cleanup – Received T-shirt quotes. Waste Management agreed to cover the cost of the T-

shirts again. First meeting scheduled for 1/14/15.
• Holiday Card Contest– A total of $276 was made from the sale of the holiday cards. The funds will be
used toward the purchase of food for the next BWSP shopping trip in February.
• Hula Hoop Classes – Hoop class taking a break for the month of January and will resume in February at
the new day and time: Wednesdays at 5pm.
• Nutrition Classes/Weight Loss Classes- Next session begins January 20th.
• Parks and Rec Calendars/Newsletters/Website – January calendars and winter newsletter distributed.
• Santa at Stillwater - Santa at Stillwater was a great success. Approximately 1500 people were in
attendance. $50 from the sales of holiday cards to benefit needy families and the blizzard survival
basket raffle raised $209 to benefit the backpack program.
• Sunshine Club– Next meeting scheduled for January 25th. December meeting had 10 volunteers that
made 31 gifts for nursing home residents.
• Town Common Holiday Decorations– Tree and lights have been removed by Harrisville Fire Department.
• Winter Floral and Craft Workshop – Six participants participated in the Winter Workshop.
Recreation Center Expansion Feasibility Study:

Update on Champlin Hall Management Changes
