Report on Recreation Program Information
 Boot Camp – There were 652 participants for the month of December.
 Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – Johnny’s Victory Diner raised $2,505 in donations for the BWSP program. Several residents stopped in with big holiday donations. Numbers are still high. Reaching out to local businesses for support. Dattco to offer two “stuff the bus” fundraisers. All schools have donated their excess canned items from Thanksgiving food baskets.
 Digital Photography 101 – Next session begins in March.
 Earth Day Clean Up – preparations are underway for the annual April cleanup. Signs dropped off to have the dates changed.
o Greg Devlin did pick up 500 packets of seeds for flowers, vegetables, and herbs at URI that can be given away at this event.
 Easter Event – Dates changed on signs. Contacted Dunkin regarding the donation of donuts and hot chocolate. Ordering supplies, giveaways and eggs. Contacted Dino’s for cupcakes. Put in request to reserve the schools. Confirmed Jesse Smith Library participation. Updating flyers and press release.
 Facebook/Newsletters/Website- Shared Johnny’s BWSP fundraiser and posted 2018 Thank you letter. January calendar, Santa event and Sunshine Club photos posted.
 Guitar Lessons – 6 students have registered for lessons at SFE. 13 students registered for guitar at WLC.
 Multisport – New session at Levy starts January 23; WLC starts March 6; SFE starts January 24th
 Senior Grant – A total of 64 residents attended the New Providence Big Band show for free. One resident utilized Town transportation. Exploring additional options for events that seniors could attend with grant monies.
 Sunshine Club– Sunshine Club holiday party was a success with 11 members in attendance. George’s provided the pizza.
