Correspondence:
-Tim Pratt discussed letter to be sent to Nick DeSalvo for more information regarding the Disc
Golf Course.

-Boot Camp – There were 698 participants for the month of January and 14 new
participants
-Burrillville Weekend Snack Pack Program – Total participants has dropped to 36.
Several students moved out of district and a few middle schoolers are too embarrassed
to take the bag. Received $5,000 grant from the Levy Foundation.
-Dance– Several new programs beginning March 16th at the Lodge and BMS
-Digital Photography 101 – 4 students have registered for the class. Next session begins
March 4.
-Earth Day Clean Up – Lion’s have purchased gloves. Lion’s club to contact Dunkin
Donuts for donations. Working on ads and flyers. New t-shirt design complete and tshirts
ordered.
-Easter Event – Received confirmation of donation of 6 raffle baskets. Mach 1 soccer
has offered to help spread eggs. Flyers to go home and be put up around town this
week. Dunkin donuts to donate coffee, hot chocolate and donuts for the event. bunny
suit picked up from the cleaners. Tickets now available for the breakfast.
-Facebook/Newsletters/Website- Posted Easter event flyers. March calendar posted.
-Family Fair – Invites and registration forms went out to prior participants and are
available online.
-Forever Fit – Approximately 20 people have been attending. Numbers recently dropped
due to weather conditions.
-Multi-Sport – WLC has 16 students.
-Rad Kids – Meeting rescheduled due to snow storm.
-Senior Grant – New flyer has been created and posted for upcoming Assembly events.
-Senior Meal Site – Working on possible dates to combine it with our new quarterly
Senior Lunch and Learn Program.
-Sunshine Club– Next meeting scheduled for March 25th.

-Ray Trinque mentioned the possibility of reaching out to the head of planning committee
-New discussion item to be added for April on Comprehensive Plan

-Working with DEM regarding drainage issues
-Grant extended 2 years
-Current location may be use to park/store machinery for upcoming Oakland Water
Project

-Reviewed during correspondence
Review of State Recreation Plan
-Statewide map available, legends are out of date
-Once updated, the State map could be updated
-Map can be used to promote Burrillville Recreation resources
